How to Edit Shipping Information

AfterShip Returns allows merchants to edit shipping information directly on the AfterShip Returns portal. It helps you to easily edit the information and regenerate a label when there is a label generation failure due to wrong information without needing to visit the eCommerce platform to edit the order data.

How to edit shipping information when auto-approval is enabled


  1. Log in to AfterShip Returns admin account
  2. Click Edit shipping info inside the label error message on the RMA detail



  1. Fill in the correct shipping information



  1. Hit the Save button
  2. Click Generate label



How to edit shipping information when auto-approval is disabled


You need to generate labels manually if you have not enabled the auto-approval option.


If the label generation fails for an order:


  1. Go to Returns in the AfterShip Returns admin and select an order
  2. On the RMA detail page click Approve > Generate label



  1. If the label generation fails, click Edit shipping info
  2. Update the shipping information > Hit the Save button



  1. Click Generate label again
  2. The label will now generate successfully
