How to add carrier account on Shipping page


  1. Log into your AfterShip Returns admin dashboard
  2. Go to Shipping > Add carrier


  1. Choose the carrier that you want to setup the account for
  2. Enter the required information
  3. Click Submit


How to enable Auto-select the cheapest carrier option


  1. Log into AfterShip Returns admin dashboard
  2. Go to Return policy > Return routing rules


  1. Select a routing rule and enable Ship with a return label
  2. Click Add shipping info


  1. Select Auto-select the cheapest carrier
  2. Fill in the required information, such as, Package size and Return location
  3. Click Save

What to do when Auto-generation of the return label fails


When auto-generation of the return encounters an issue, the system will automatically attempt to select the cheapest carrier after you make necessary edits to the shipping information. Nevertheless, you also have the option to manually choose a specific carrier for generating the return label.
